"I met Robin in November 2003, through a friend of a friend referral when I decided to get serious about taking a step towards owning my dream fishing shack on the Outer Banks. In 2003 the OBX market was so hectic, and in talking to a few other realtors I didnt get the impression that they were particularly interested in helping me with my small first step finding a decent lot to invest in as a way to get started. She worked magic, in my opinion, as she helped me through a series of complicated transactions that involved subdividing and selling my property to different buyers, purchasing an absolutely beautiful between the highways home that far exceeds my fishing shack expectations, and doing this all in todays market and in the context of the timelines for a 1031 exchange. There were any number of potential panic-attack-inducing moments, such as when Robin couldnt find me to tell me of the offers on my lots. Finally she got through on my cell phone as I was on a friends fishing boat eight miles off Key West. (Not knowing where I was, she asked if she could call me back on a land line. Haha!) But she got me through it all and I didnt hyperventilate once, she was there every step of the way before, during and after closing.
